David Farrell: Artist & Architect

David Farrell is a notable architect and artist in Dallas, Texas. He is a native of Ft. Worth and a distinguished Architectural Alumni of Texas Tech University College of Architecture. He served as the Design Principal for 32 years at the architectural firm, Good Fulton & Farrell. Under his design leadership the firm has been credited with over 70 architectural and urban planning design awards.

David is now pursuing his architectural career within his own firm, Farrell Architects and his passion for painting through David Farrell Art. His art reflects a unique architectural approach to painting and composition. He finds inspiration in familiar machines, darkness in figurative work and an appreciation for authentic Texas landscapes.

David’s Dallas studio is also a wood and metal shop where he builds his own painting frames and furniture.  From the studio he periodically teaches introductory welding classes covering he basics of acetylene gas, arc and MIG welding.

David, his wife, two sons and both Australian Shepherds are all native Texans.
